Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) - St Agathas Pennant Hills

Out of School Hours Care (OSHC)

CatholicCare – St Agatha’s Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) Provider

CatholicCare is now St Agatha’s OSHC provider.

CatholicCare provides an enjoyable and safe environment for your children and are committed to developing strong and supportive relationships with families.

Under CatholicCare Provider status, the service will now be referred to as St Agatha’s OSHC, instead of Trooshc. The transition involves administrative requirements from both State and Federal governments, and CatholicCare is working through these with the State Department of Education (DoE) for service approval transfer and the Federal Department of Education (DoEd) for Child Care Subsidy (CCS) approval. CCS approval may take a few weeks after the start of Term 1, 2025. During this period, families will need to pay full fees, which will be adjusted retrospectively once CCS approval is received.

The fees will remain the same as those charged by the previous provider:

  • Before School Care: $18.00 (Permanent), $20.00 (Casual)
  • After School Care: $25.00 (Permanent), $29.00 (Casual)

Enrolment Process

As CatholicCare is now the service provider, families are required to re-enroll into the OSHC service under the National Education and Care Regulations and Law.

To ensure a smooth transition, families should:

  1. Complete the Enrolment Form available at stagathaoshc.hubworks.com.au. The form includes the Conditions of Enrolment section and requires reading relevant policies.
  2. Contact CatholicCare if there are issues accessing the form or uploading the required documentation.

Upon receiving the enrolment form, CatholicCare will confirm your child’s booked attendance sessions, which will be invoiced fortnightly in advance. Families are asked to pay fees through Direct Debit (IPay) or BPay, as cash payments are not permitted under National Law.

Once CCS is activated by DoEd, families will need to enter their Centrelink account and accept the Complying Written Agreement (CWA). Further communication will be sent at that time.

The following policies are available for review on the online portal:

  • Children’s Arrival and Departure Policy
  • Child Care Subsidy and Enrolment Policy
  • Enrolment Waiting List Orientation and Termination
  • Family Feedback Complaints and Grievance
  • Children Services Fee Policy
  • Illness and Infectious Diseases Policy
  • Managing Asthma and Other Medical Conditions Policy
